Ylenia Schembri

Ylenia has taken part in our ‘Young Artists’ Exhibition and is extremely talented at such a young age. In fact she has converted an interest in art since the bicker age of four. She has in the meantime studied at the Malta Visual and Performing Arts School and is now furthering her studies at post secondary level. While Ylenia dabbles in various art styles and themes, she is particularly interest in realistic portraits, with self portraits being her most common subject. Oil paint is the medium she finds herself most comfortable with, allowing her to kick off her initial ideas onto a canvas. She is still expanding and furthering her artistic journey which promises to be an amazing one!
