The late Maestro Chev. Pawlu Grech (Feb1938 – Feb 2021) was an internationally acclaimed artist and musician whose vast painterly output is epitomized by an extensive series of works on fossils, which evoke the timelessness of all that was and is. His artistic journey began in Malta, continued in Rome, where he met the great Igor Stravinsky, and flourished in London, where he studied with the renowned musicologist Hans Keller and exhibited his paintings in a number of collective and solo exhibitions. Grech’s works were also displayed in Paris, Malta, London England and the USA.
